On New Year's Eve we headed into downtown Salt Lake on the TRAX light rail where they had a new thing this year--a three day celebration called "3ve". We just went on the last day and really only because Tessa, McCoy, and Samantha were performing with the Mountain West production of the Nutcracker at the Rose Wagner Theater. It was a great stage to perform on and the seats were so close. They all did great and we were proud of them. In between performances we went walking up Main Street and saw the lights at Temple Square. Some of us hung around the Gallivan Center and watched the snow boarders and skiers do tricks on the 50 ft pile of snow they made. Then we came home for a party including the Lisa and Nelson Knight and Mike and Kathy Johnson and the cousins. We had food, games, and fireworks at midnight. Happy New Year everybody.
