Nutcracker Redux

While it was fun to be downtown on New Year's Eve in Salt Lake City, we were really there because of the Nutcracker. Mountain West Ballet was invited to perform twice at the Rose Wagner Theater . It was a great stage, roomy and deep, but the audience sits much closer, so it was a nice way to see the ballet. The second performance was in the Wagner Black Box theater, which is a different way to see the show. Either way the kids looked great with their dancing and peforming. I was able to get some video so enjoy. Check more on Youtube at:

This is Samantha in the Merliton dance--she is the one at the end of the line with the flute or on the left side later in the dance.

This is Tessa (sorry, not very clear) during her waltz of the flowers dance. She is the one on the left corner at the beginning. Be sure to check out her longer dance (better video) on YouTube.

McCoy as Fritz, the naughty boy, doing his dance with Clara (Alison Rimmasch) and the party girls and party boys.

Naughty McCoy getting his just desserts with a well-deserved rat.

McCoy just can't stop being a pest--this is the climax of his shenanigans at the party.

What fun memories for the whole family. Lots of talent in one great family.

To see them perform again reminds me of the great performances they all did. It really makes the season......

I loved watching the videos. Thanks for sharing. McCoy is a little mischievous isn't he? I like his acting skills. Tessa and Samantha are beautiful dancers as well. Love the youtube clip.
