One of the kids' favorite Christmas traditions is the advent--Kristin puts a paper ornament on the tree every morning that has an activity that we do that day. The kids get up first thing in the morning to look at the day's ornament. Today's (Tuesday the 1st) was to make shortbread cookies--I was sure glad to come home after my Westminster class (last one of the semester!) to the smell of my favorite Christmas cookies.

December Advent 1
One of the kids' favorite Christmas traditions is the advent--Kristin puts a paper ornament on the tree every morning that has an activity that we do that day. Well that sure is a fun idea Kristin. I wasn't aware of that tradition. I can't believe you did the shortbread cookies so early.. wow, I need to get my kitchen put together so I can start making cookies.
