We had a little rainstorm come through this afternoon--the first rain we have seen at our house since early June. The kids ran outside and were leaping on the driveway like they've never seen rain before. Ah, life in a desert!

desert rain???? You haven't seen anything til you experience a monsoon! We had terrential (word?) rain dumps last night.. It's so cool... then it turns all muggy and steamy outside. bizarre.
It only seems to rain here. We have rain at least every other day, then it passes and it's hot and muggy. You got to love New York.
We want rain. My flowers are so thirty.
