Kate started school today, Tuesday, she had a little meet the teacher appt. yesterday. She has Mr. Stutzman, a new male first grade teacher, needless to say I wanted to take over yesterday during her appointment. I will be keeping a close eye on her first grade class, I hope he wants a parent volunteer.

that's a little nuts when you already know your kids teacher isn't too hot.... good luck with that! So,,,,, just you and Ben huh? Is this a first for you,,, just one kid at home? Oh the times you'll have. (say it like Brad would)
Good luck. That's always frustrating--is it too late to do the ol' transfer thing? You are the PTA queen. Doesn't that count for something?
He could turn out to be the best teacher in the world, but--------my experience with male teachers has NOT been positive! We will hope for the best!
Kate looks so grown up. Good luck with her teacher. Can you come out of retirement when it is time for Tuscanee to go to school? Then I will not have to worry about her teacher.
Oh, that is one cute little first grader!
That is one cute first grader but a male teacher for first grade.....? Kaitlyn actually had a male student teacher in first grade. She said he was okay but when she brought her bitty baby for show n'tell he didn't think it was very cool, and that made her mad. He made a big deal about a kid's computer and not a word about her bitty baby. The male species may not just not get you don't diss a 6 year old's bitty baby, barbie, or little pony- so much cuter than a computer!
