Final Bow for Nutcracker

Posted by Picasa
Well, it's finally over for us. All the driving, rehearsals, costumes, dancing, and hair, hair, hair is all finally over. Monday night we went to the final performance, which was the only one with all of our kids and cousins at the same time. We enjoyed seeing our wonderful children perform after all that work. Samantha was a cute bon-bon and McCoy was his usual mischievious Fritz. Kate had a great first time experience, even though on the Saturday performance, she was dropped by a rat during the fight scene. She now has a great horror story to share with other performers. And Tessa, what can I say? As Clara she was perfect. I was so proud of her up there taking center stage and showing what all the years of hard work made possible. Just a beautiful dancer. Sorry, I was unable to get a video clip of her dancing (they're pretty strict!), but we did buy the DVD so maybe we can show it to you all later. This video clip shows Tessa in her finaly bow with the Prince.

Good night, sweet Nutcracker--until next year!
