Fall Harvest Family Meal

With a beautiful September day here, we had a lovely fall Sunday dinner with just about everyone today. However, we missed Brad (Oktoberfest we think) and Bren riding in on his bike, but pretty much we had "everyone". Aunt Marilee, Aimee and Mike (and Tuscanee of course) all came. Mom and Dad came, too, along with a wonderful surprise--Ashton Carroll. It was fun to have her here up from BYU for the weekend. She was worried about missing church, because if she gets below 80% attendance in her ward there she will lose her escclesiastical endorsement. Whoa--I hope the zucchini, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, pears, garden-grown tomatoes, pumpkin bundt cake, and limeade were worth it, Ashton.
We sang "Happy Birthday" to Aunt Marilee (wow, 39 years old!) and mom and dad showed us their pictures from their Alaska cruise. Dad seems to enjoy talking about it more than actually being on it.

Wah! Wish I were there. Thanks for posting the picture of Ashton and for providing her with a great meal and company. What's up with the ecclesiastical endorsement? We never had that.

Thank you thank you for inviting us. We enjoyed every bite of delicious harvest veggies. My favorite was the tomatoes, they tasted like sugar, and the zucchini. If you need any help eating the rest of the veggies, give us a call. :)

Now I'm sad! I know you posted this specifically for those gone, wah from me too. Ashton, you are sitting in my designated chair, take care of it for the next 4 years! Looks like a grand old time as usual. Happy Birthday Aunt Marilee!
