The best place to start most projects is at the bottom and then work your way up. Last week my dad came over and we began to tackle our basement. For years the kids have called our big room in the basement the "scary room". It was so hard to do anything because we would open box only to realize there was no where to put it. So, we would just close up the box again.
Well, we got things moving by throwing things away, consolidating things, buying several new book shelves, and putting up sheetrock on the walls. Wow, it looks great. All those books on those shelves? They were all in boxes for the past 7 years. Thanks Dad, for coming for a few days and working steadily to make this happen.
Now, maybe from the basement we can move upstairs, to the garage, the backyard, and maybe even move upward into all aspects of our lives. Wow, this basement could be the turning point for everything.

It looks great Keith. And Daddy is super excited to do the garage,, hee hee.. I love that feeling of a light heart when you clean out something and organize. Especially as big as a basement!
The basement has always been a battle for me...I did beat it this last fall getting ready to move. I probably could do more down there. Glad you're organized and have a little more play space. Doesn't it feel great?!? Good luck on the garage.
